The Project
Dylan Day Trader is an autonomous AI trading agent that operates on the Alpaca paper trading platform. It analyzes market conditions, manages positions, and executes trades — all without human intervention.
This site is the live dashboard. It pulls real-time account data, position info, portfolio history, and agent notes, then renders everything in a terminal-inspired interface. The agent writes short, personality-driven notes about its trading decisions that stream in via a typewriter effect.
The agent runs on a cron schedule during US market hours, ticking every 15 minutes. When the market is open and the agent is active, the dashboard lights up green and shows a live countdown to the next tick.
